Nesse m\u00e9todo, um feixe de el\u00e9trons atravessa a amostra ultrafina (normalmente com espessura inferior a 100 nm), formando uma imagem baseada na intera\u00e7\u00e3o dos el\u00e9trons com a estrutura interna do material.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1695\">Por conta dessa resolu\u00e7\u00e3o extremamente alta \u2014 chegando a poucos angstrons \u2014 o MET \u00e9 amplamente utilizado para estudar <span data-start=\"1571\" data-end=\"1589\">cristalografia<\/span>, <span data-start=\"1591\" data-end=\"1615\">defeitos estruturais<\/span>, <span data-start=\"1617\" data-end=\"1635\">nanopart\u00edculas<\/span>, <span data-start=\"1637\" data-end=\"1661\">materiais biol\u00f3gicos<\/span> e <span data-start=\"1664\" data-end=\"1694\">interfaces em filmes finos<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1697\" data-end=\"2048\">Quando o MET \u00e9 acoplado a um sistema de <strong data-start=\"1737\" data-end=\"1796\">Espectroscopia de Dispers\u00e3o de Energia de Raios X (EDS)<\/strong>, forma-se o <strong data-start=\"1809\" data-end=\"1820\">MET-EDS<\/strong>, que possibilita, al\u00e9m da an\u00e1lise morfol\u00f3gica, a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o e quantifica\u00e7\u00e3o de elementos qu\u00edmicos presentes em regi\u00f5es espec\u00edficas da amostra. O resultado \u00e9 uma imagem que revela detalhes <strong data-start=\"680\" data-end=\"705\">em escala nanom\u00e9trica<\/strong> e at\u00e9 a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o cristalina, sendo poss\u00edvel atingir amplia\u00e7\u00f5es de at\u00e9 1.000.000x.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"3079\" data-end=\"3196\">Para que isso funcione, a amostra precisa ser extremamente fina (geralmente menos de 100 nan\u00f4metros).
