Materiais Cer\u00e2micos: defini\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abceram.org.br\/definicao-e-classificacao\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Definem-se<\/a> os <strong>materiais cer\u00e2micos<\/strong> como sendo todos os materiais inorg\u00e2nicos, de natureza n\u00e3o met\u00e1lica, obtidos de mat\u00e9rias-primas em p\u00f3 e geralmente ap\u00f3s tratamentos t\u00e9rmicos em temperaturas elevadas.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"301\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/c2lab.com.br\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/fontes-ceramica.jpg\" alt=\"Mat\u00e9ria-prima de materiais cer\u00e2micos na constru\u00e7\u00e3o civil\" class=\"wp-image-1004\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figura 1: Mat\u00e9ria-prima de materiais cer\u00e2micos. Abaixo, listamos os grupos cer\u00e2micos conforme informa\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas da <strong>Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Cer\u00e2mica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cer\u00e2micas Vermelhas:<\/strong> s\u00e3o os materiais com colora\u00e7\u00e3o avermelhada, como tijolos, blocos, telhas, lajes, tubos, argilas expandidas e elementos vazados, frequentemente utilizados <strong>na constru\u00e7\u00e3o civil<\/strong>.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cer\u00e2micas Brancas:<\/strong> tratam-se dos materiais constitu\u00eddos por um corpo branco e recobertos por uma camada v\u00edtrea, transparente e incolor. Apesar da nomenclatura, alguns produtos coloridos tamb\u00e9m se encaixam nessa classe, representando os vidrados opacificados utilizados em lou\u00e7as, por exemplo.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Materiais de Revestimento (Placas Cer\u00e2micas):<\/strong> pertencem a esse grupo as placas de azulejos, pastilhas e porcelanatos empregadas <strong>na constru\u00e7\u00e3o civil<\/strong> para o revestimento de pisos, paredes, bancadas, piscinas e etc.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Materiais Refrat\u00e1rios:<\/strong> s\u00e3o os materiais produzidos a partir da s\u00edlica, carbeto de sil\u00edcio, grafita, carbono, zirc\u00f4nia, entre outros, utilizados para suportar temperaturas elevadas em meio a esfor\u00e7os mec\u00e2nicos, qu\u00edmicos e varia\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9rmicas bruscas.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Isolantes T\u00e9rmicos:<\/strong> s\u00e3o produtos refrat\u00e1rios ou n\u00e3o refrat\u00e1rios, geralmente de baixa densidade, utilizados para diminuir o fluxo de calor entre corpos.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fritas e Corantes:<\/strong> enquanto as fritas s\u00e3o vidros mo\u00eddos, os corantes s\u00e3o \u00f3xidos puros ou compostos produzidos a partir de \u00f3xidos. Ambos s\u00e3o utilizados como mat\u00e9ria-prima para acabamentos superficiais de pe\u00e7as cer\u00e2micas, a fim de aumentar a resist\u00eancia mec\u00e2nica e a impermeabilidade, al\u00e9m de outras caracter\u00edsticas est\u00e9ticas, como a colora\u00e7\u00e3o e tonalidades.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Abrasivos:<\/strong> s\u00e3o produtos fabricados a partir de materiais cer\u00e2micos com propriedades e estruturas as quais conferem abrasividade ao componente, como as lixas feitas com part\u00edculas de carbeto de sil\u00edcio.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vidro, Cimento e Cal:<\/strong> os materiais cer\u00e2micos v\u00edtreos costumam ser estudados \u00e0 parte, em virtude de suas particularidades, enquanto o cimento e a cal constituem importantes fun\u00e7\u00f5es <strong>na constru\u00e7\u00e3o civil<\/strong>.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cer\u00e2mica de Alta Tecnologia\/Cer\u00e2mica Avan\u00e7ada:<\/strong> s\u00e3o os materiais desenvolvidos a partir de mat\u00e9rias-primas com alto grau de pureza e processos de alta tecnologia e complexidade. S\u00e3o utilizados nas ind\u00fastrias de eletroeletr\u00f4nicos, em equipamentos \u00f3pticos, sensores e pe\u00e7as para implantes biol\u00f3gicos, por exemplo.<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Para <strong>identificar-se corretamente o tipo de material<\/strong>, devem ser realizadas <strong>An\u00e1lises Qu\u00edmicas<\/strong>, em produtos cer\u00e2micos acabados ou at\u00e9 mesmo na mat\u00e9ria-prima e massa cer\u00e2mica. Al\u00e9m disso, costumam ser isolantes el\u00e9tricos, a despeito de existirem alguns segmentos de materiais cer\u00e2micos semicondutores, condutores e supercondutores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outras <strong>propriedades interessantes<\/strong> s\u00e3o a alta estabilidade qu\u00edmica sob condi\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais severas, alta dureza e alta fragilidade. \u00c9 importante notar que apesar de serem resistentes ao risco e a grandes esfor\u00e7os compressivos, s\u00e3o sens\u00edveis ao impacto, e por isso <strong>s\u00e3o considerados fr\u00e1geis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>O <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/c2lab.com.br\/blog-ensaio-de-compressao\/?utm_source=c2lab&amp;utm_medium=blog&amp;utm_campaing=b2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ensaio de Compress\u00e3o<\/a><\/strong> \u00e9 a t\u00e9cnica mais utilizada em <strong>Materiais Cer\u00e2micos na Constru\u00e7\u00e3o Civil<\/strong>, em virtude de fornecer dados sobre a resist\u00eancia aos esfor\u00e7os compressivos de estruturas pesadas. Materiais Cer\u00e2micos na Constru\u00e7\u00e3o Civil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Os <strong>materiais cer\u00e2micos<\/strong> s\u00e3o <a href=\"https:\/\/engenharia-civil-virtual.blogspot.com\/2013\/08\/materiais-ceramicos.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fundamentais<\/a> para a <strong>constru\u00e7\u00e3o civil<\/strong>, por diversos fatores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Primeiramente, pode-se lembrar que na hist\u00f3ria da civiliza\u00e7\u00e3o humana, as primeiras edifica\u00e7\u00f5es foram produzidas a partir de misturas de areia, barro e argila. Dessa forma, as cer\u00e2micas s\u00e3o empregadas em diversas etapas das obras, em pilares, paredes, pisos e etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, os <strong>componentes cer\u00e2micos<\/strong> podem assumir uma grande diversidade de cores, tonalidades e formatos.
